30 days later I received 1000HE switch stopped working and I could not sustain it. ASUS I pay to ship back. It 'was a known issue. Never buy from Asus again. In addition, I lost all data on the disk.

Furthermore, the mouse is very difficult to use, and many Web sites do not appear correctly on the small screen.

I would recommend ASUS or 1000HE

Can I first express my sincere gratitude to all visitors to Amazon, which helped me decide to buy this thing pretty. I had a confusion of buying a netbook, but reading the detailed comments helped me to ACE the right choice. I have this netbook for about 4 days and I am very pleased with this product. For me, the best professionals were:
1. Very good battery life. I tried with ON-Fi, Bluetooth and listen to music and the system was accurate to 6 hours before being cut. (In fact, 8 hours, because, as suggested by some commentators, is not made by me in this moment, may depend on other factors). Overall the battery life seems good.
2. Very decent keyboard and touchpad. I am a typist and I have not found any difference in my normal typing speed, but after you type a lot, my pain in hand with the support of the small touchpad.
3. Very fast and responsive. Windows XP it rocks!
4. Good microphone and webcam.
5. Samsung built in software is useful.

Mini-notebooks are becoming more common. The very small size makes them more portable than other styles of notebook computers, and the fact that in wireless capabilities built almost always makes it easy for you to go online just about everywhere you that has a Wi-Fi hotspot. However, there are some things to keep in mind notebook, before your own Mini.

These types of computers are made so small because the internalComponents are usually made them either less or some features are missing. Most mini-notebook computers are not very powerful, and many of them are missing some components that you great notebook or standard may be used with your regular desktop.

I am writing this review on my new N120. I love this stuff. I have two Toshiba notebooks, which is about four years and one of them cost me $ 2k when I bought it. This stuff is just as fast if not faster than them. The screen is brighter than my old laptop, and even if the screen is smaller, it is strong, so you can see what you're doing.

The netbook works well. The screen 10 inches is sufficient for word processing and surfing the Internet. For me, the keyboard is a bit 'small, but my wife is excellent. I recommend more RAM to 2 GB.

I bought my Asus Eee PC netbook 1000HE about 5 months ago. I enjoyed using. E 'was great for checking e-mail and surf the Internet. About a month ago I had a problem that Windows XP does not open. I called Asus tech support and they made me try a couple of things that do not. Finally, I send my back to Asus netbook. I sent on a Monday, Wednesday and I had already got in my possession that Friday. This kind of fast and efficient turn around is outrageous. Wow what service! The way they installed a new hard drive and now I found surfing the internet and luckily I bought a wonderful product with technical support and service.

WOW! Netbook fantastic! Bought this one sight unseen based on other reviews. Expandable to 2 GB of RAM running XP SP3. This stuff cold boots in 40 seconds and the battery life is really + 10 hours. Lightweight, even with 6-cell battery. Cool running with a screen very clear and defined. Not doing well in direct sunlight, but what?

For those worried about size keyboard - I have found works well and touch / click lets you write with almost zero adjustment / learning curve by a full size keyboard. PLUS … Arrow keys, delete key and backspace keys are exactly where they should be. Makes spelling is quick and effortless.

I took this netbook in part because it was advertised as having a backlit LED display and has been heralded as a "green" laptop. But after I bought it, I realized that this was anything but. I turned to discover that said the following. "Lamp contains mercury. Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal law." As we all know, the LED does not contain mercury, CCFL's do. So there you have it … written on the back of the Netbook - this laptop is CCFL backlight although advertised as the backlight LEDs. In addition, said the manual handling of pipe which are exposed to lead, a chemical know to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm … lovely. I tried to ask Toshiba's "technical support" on it and they were worthless .. could not even speak. Of course, I get it back soon.
